Google Analytics

Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js), a service of Google. It sets cookies and collects usage information such as the pages you view, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We use these aggregated statistics only to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can block analytics with a browser extension or content blocker, or opt out with Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The games and tools keep working either way.

Fonts

The display typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's font servers, which receive your IP address and browser details as part of the request.

Data stored in your browser

The Sudoku game saves your current puzzle for each difficulty (and the daily puzzle) in your browser's local storage, so you can close the tab and continue later. This data stays on your device; clear your browser's site data to remove it.

Hosting

The site is a static website served through a content delivery network, whose servers process standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
